Decided to play with some charcoal pencils I just got. I went easy on them because otherwise scanning the pic might smear it - and I do NOT want smudges on my scanner. XD Needless to say, charcoal is not my medium of choice, so this isn't anything spectacular - I was just fooling around.

And anyway, I like drawing Dilandau. :3

Watches, present tense. :3 'Tis my favorite series.

Trust me, Dilandau/Dirandu doesn't just SEEM crazy, he IS crazy. X3 That's what makes him fun. Well, that and a lot of other things, he's not at all a shallow character. Yeah. *waves 'I :heart: Dilandau' banner*

And thankies - I suck with charcoals, but this sketch came out alright. ^^;

This is amazing o_O; My charcoal skills are crap! xD I end up smudging it all over the place..... Therefore I don't usually bother...

This is very nice ^.^ I love the shading !!!!

Eh, I'm no good with charcoal either. XD I mean, this pic's okay, but compare it to professional charcoal artwork and it's such crap... ^^;

xD It's still pretty good!!! I always try to smudge the charcoal just a bit and make it look all cool and pro and stuff but it ends up messing up the whole picture and I get angry X3

Well you're not a professional charcoal-ist so you shouldn't compare yourself to one ^__^ I think it looks great!!!

Smudging is evilness. XD I avoid the softer charcoals for that reason. Because, naturally, they smudge where you don't want them too. e_e
